Tom Haigh

Tom found his way into audio post from his background in music, via a move to Chicago from England. He is best known for his skills as a mixer, sound designer, ADR engineer, and translator from British to American English. Tom’s work in independent film has earned him a loyal following, and he excels at managing the many aspects of film soundtrack production. Tom is also ARU’s resident music supervisor and composer, which has necessitated replacing his extensive collection of nametags and hairnets with an equally extensive collection of guitars and musical knickknacks. Tom’s interests in audio extend outside of the studio to include involvement with the World Listening Project and the field of acoustic ecology.
